Use: Escitalopram is the active isomer
of Citalopram, high-selectivity inhibit resorption for
5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT), slightly effect resorption
for noradrenalin and dopamine, improve 5-HT concentration
in neutite clearance through block resorption for 5-HT,
and so have antidepress function. It applies to treat
major depressive disorder. Only half of dosage of Escitalopram
reach to same remedial effect comparing with Citalopram,
and lighten related side-effect.
